Our Vision Saxifrage is the name for a group of flowers, which grow on rock and in unusual places. It is pronounced [sax-ee-f-rage] it is the metaphor for the ministry. We have been commissioned to break grounds for Christ and our growth and foundation is the Rock, our Lord Jesus Christ. The call to this work came in 1994 with the Lord formally introducing himself to us from the bible and charging us to build his city and to set captives free. We did not understand at the time but as time progressed, we have come to the understanding of our call. Saxifrage is an evangelistic ministry steeped in prayer, which seeks to spread the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ throughout the entire world. We have a strong apostolic leading and by the grace of God, a prophetic unction. This makes us relevant to the times and seasons. We also believe that the demonstration of Gods power in our midst affirms the call of God on our lives. We are engaged in prayers and strategic warfare. We are also involved in praying for revival in our lives, the churches and our nation. . All we do is aimed at building up the saints who make up the city and thereby setting them free to set others free. We believe that our commission confirms that there are lots to be done among the children of God to bring about the much needed changes in our cities and nations. We hope to access all available media to reach Gods people with heavens agenda. Saxifrage has not been set up to rival the church but to aid her in the mammoth work that the Lord has given to her. We are also poised to help network churches together to take and realise opportunities that have before now not been taken due to our differences as churches. Saxifrage is comprised of children of God who are committed to seeing Gods will done on earth and hence involved in activities that transverse the walls of their individual churches. Beliefs We believe that Jesus is Lord over all creation. We believe his word is the bible and is indisputable. We believe in the Holy Trinity; God the Father God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the atonement and the forgiveness of sin of through and by the blood of Jesus. We believe in eternal life for the saved and hell for the unsaved. We believe in water baptism. We believe that prayer changes things. We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the diverse manifestations. We believe that Jesus is coming soon. We believe that the gift of prophecy is crucial to these times. We believe that if God is at the centre of your life, all other things will align and fall in place.
